She is survived by her five children; Barbara Arkin and husband James, Pamela Larussa and husband Sam, Deborah Hufeld and husband Jerry, Judy Holloway and husband Hal, and Douglas Arthur and wife Tamara. Eunice is also survived by her 18 grandchildren, Jeffrey and Veronica Arkin, Matthew and Cindy Arkin, Elizabeth and Kevin Mechelke, Denise Larussa and fiancee Ryan Morgan, Kimberly and Ryan Presser, Kelly Rickert, Rebekah and Joshua Holloway and Teralyn, Tynette, Tylinda, Trysha and Tina Arthur. She also has eight great-grandchildren.
She grew up in a farming community in Kansas with her sister, Virginia Jenkins of Guam and two brothers, Al Potts of Los Angeles, deceased, and Cecil Potts of Kansas.
During WWII she was an aircraft riveter. She has lived in the Bay Area for the past 60 years. Before retiring, Eunice worked for Macy's at Oakridge Mall.
Memorial Services will be held on Aug 29, 2002, at 10am at the LIMA FAMILY MORTUARY, 710 Willow Street, San Jose. Graveside Services will be held immediately following at St. Joseph's Cemetery in San Pablo. Donations to the Almaden Hills United Methodist Church, 1200 Blossom Hill Road, San Jose, 95118 suggested.
