Thereasa Arrington Tann of the 6300 block of Avon Road, a retired restaurant owner, died April 19, 1991, in a hospital. Mrs. Tann was a native of Enfield, N.C. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church; Daughters of Sphinx M.A.K.K.E.D.D.A., Court 1 AAO; and E.L. Harrison Radiant Tent 767. She was a past associate matron of Alpha Chapter 22, Order of Eastern Star and a former grand officer of Electa Grand Chapter International Jurisdiction. Survivors include her husband, Benjamin Tann; a daughter, Audrey F. Turner of Goochland, Va.; seven sisters, Queen Arrington of Garysburg, N.C., Jean Allen and Gladys Wilkins, both of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., Evangaline Jenkins of Philadelphia, Olivia Webb of Newark, N.J., Ophelia Peterson and Sabina Barnes of Florida; a brother, Willie J. Vinson of Roanoke Rapids; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church by the Rev. M.L. Williams. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. Fitchett Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
