m. (1) Christoper Roland (2) Ebenezer Ingram and (3) Noel Arrington. Mother of William Pace, Jess Ingram, Sherrod and Ezekiel Roland, and George Washington Arrington. Historical Southern Families Volume IV - Noel Arrington

Martha’s parents were John Pace, Jr. and Zepporah Kirby Pace, who died in Alabama. Martha's first husband, Christopher Roland, was one of Sherrod Roland's brothers. Sherrod (my great great great grandfather) was married to Martha's sister Elizabeth Pace. Martha and Elizabeth's brothers David and Jesse Pace also settled in North Texas. Sherrod was the guardian for Martha's children after Christopher died and the administrator of her son John Roland's estate after his death serving in the Texas Army in August of 1836.
Christopher and Martha were married in Alabama in 1818. I believe he died about 1828. Their children were John, Jesse, Sherrod (named for his uncle, above), Ezekiel and Christopher Jr. As stated above, John died while serving in the Texas Army. He was only 17 and died of disease while heading to Victoria with the Red River Blues. Jesse was murdered while still a teenager. Sherrod and Ezekiel both married and had families. Christopher Jr evidently died as a youngster.
Martha then married Ebenezer Ingram in Arkansas Territory. It is unclear if Ingram made it to Texas, or if he did, how long he lived, but he was gone by 1835. Martha and Ebenezer had a son, James Ingram. James is buried in Elm Grove Cemetery, as is his son Jesse and some of Jesse's children.
Martha married Noel Arrington in March of 1838. Noel was gone before 1850. It looks like they had just one son, George Washington Arrington. I'm not sure where George is buried, but several of his children are buried at Elm Grove; James, William and John, as well as Sarah Brinlee, wife of George Mason Brinlee.
