AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest at University Hospital on June 29, 2012, Mrs. Mary P. Arrington, wife of the late George Arrington of Augusta.

Mary was born in Augusta and was manager of Joiner Garage. She was a member of the Barton Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors: 1 son, Chris and wife Rose Arrington; 1 sister, Dale Redding; niece, Crystal and husband Jon Teal; grandchildren, Jessica and Corey Hering; great grandchildren, Eddie Burke and Evelyn Hering; great niece and nephew, Autum and Robbie Reeves; her partner, Raymond Joiner; and other family members.

Funeral service will be held at the Chapel in Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Robert Reese officiating on July 6, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends will meet at the mausoleum. Visitation: Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Thomas L. King Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations to the University Health Breast Cancer Center, 1350 Walton Way, Augusta, Ga. 30901. Thomas L. King Funeral Home
