Estella Ann Hansen Aronson, 89, died March 11 at Longview Nursing Home in Missouri Valley.
Estella was born on Aug. 1, 1924 in Missouri Valley to Emma and Peter Hansen. She attended and graduated from Missouri Valley High School and later took additional business courses at Commercial Extension in Omaha, Neb.
Estella was married to George Wentworth Aronson in the Presbyterian Church on Sept. 4, 1946. This union lasted 61years.
Estella is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Went; her brothers, George and Carl Hansen.
She is survived by her three children – Linda (Mark) Bowers of Honey Creek, Ruth (John) Latto of Missouri Valley, and Don (Angie) Sorick of Honey Creek; six grandchildren – Peter (Hillary) Bowers of San Diego, Calif., Krista (Rod) Sharpe of Macomb, Ill., Brad (Brooke) Latto of Missouri Valley, Ben (Dee) Latto of Missouri Valley, Michael (Theresa) Sorick of Omaha, Neb., and Sara (Andrew) Evarts of Fort Riley, Kan.; and 10 great-grandchildren – Elijah, Miriam, Hanna, Naomi, and Rivka Bowers; Even, Titus, and Connor Latto; and Chloe and Holly Evarts.
Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley is in charge of the arrangements.
Burial will take place in the Branson Cemetery at Loveland.
