Alice "Dolly" Arnone, 81, of Aguilar, passed away April 2, 2012. Visitation, 2 to 6 p.m. Monday, April 9, at Comi Funeral Home, Trinidad, Colo. Rosary recitation, 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, with Catholic Mass to follow at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Aguilar, Colo. Interment, Aguilar Catholic Cemetery.

Alice J. "Dolly" Arnone, 81, died Monday, April 2, 2012, at Parkview Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Dolly was born Dec. 28, 1930, in Aguilar to Angelina (Javernik) and Oreste Cattani. She graduated from Aguilar High School in 1949 and was united in marriage Sept. 2, 1951, to Joe Arnone at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Aguilar. Together the couple had seven children.

Alice was preceded in death by her beloved son Dino; her parents; her stepfather, Frank Guadagnoli; her mother- and father-in-law, Aguilina and Gaetano Arnone; her sisters Helen Johnson and Mary Ann Sterk; her brothers, Oreste Cattani and Frank Guadagnoli Jr.; her brothers-in-law, Larry Johnson, Paul Sterk, Jersey Arnone and Armando Arnone.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Joe Arnone of Aguilar; her daughters, Bina (Jim) Lee of Raton, N.M., Judee (Steve) Mattivi of Pueblo, and Chrissy (John) Grider of Albuquerque, N.M.; her sonds, Gaetano Arnone of White Rock, N.M., Mario (Barbie) Arnone of Westcliff, and Joe Joe Arnone of Las Cruces, N.M.

Dolly is also survived by her brother Danny (Marty) Guadagnoli of Pueblo; her brothers- and sisters-in-law, Mitzi Arnone of Aguilar, Edie (Lennie) Fullwood of Southport, N.C., Helen Guadagnoli of Walsenburg, Linda Arnone of Houston, Texas, and Ollie (Betty) Arnone of Lakewood.

Alice's grandchildren are Mya, Linnea (Bryce), Annika, Kayla, Mario, (Stacie), Vinnie (Gina), Joey, Jason, Joel (Charlie), Jocelyn. Her great grandchildren are D'Angelo, Cade, Justus, Tray, Malena, Aja, Jade, Eva, Jay and Macabee. She is also survived by numerous close friends, cousins, nieces and nephews, including Paula (Frank) Conder.

Alice was a loving wife and dedicated mother who will be missed and remembered always.

Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Monday, April 9, at Comi Chapel and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, at St. Anthony's followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass and interment with rite of committal at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery. Alice's children will be her pallbearers.

Friends are invited to gather with the family immediately following the service at St. Anthony's Parish Hall.

Arrangements under direction of Comi Funeral Home.
