Graveside services were held at Elmwood Cemetery, Wagoner, Oklahoma, August 15 at 10 a.m. for Betty J. Arnold, 61 of Davis Junction, Illinois. Officiating was Pastor James McCraken, Boulevard Christian Church, Muskogee, Oklahoma.
She was born September 29, 1927 and died August 11, 1989 at her home after a brief illness. Daughter of Otis and Laura (Lindsey) Cooper, she moved to Rockford from Oklahoma in 1961. She then moved to Davis Junction in 1975.
A homemaker, Mrs. Campbell, was married to Louis J. Arnold in Fort Smith, Arkansas, September 23, 1946. She attended Baptist and Presbyterian Churches and graduated from Wagoner High School.
Survivors include, her husband Louis of the home, two sons, Robert, Collinsville, Oklahoma, Billy, Leaf River, Illinois; two daughters, Beverly Arnold and Carolyn Arnold both of Owasso, Oklahoma; one sister, Pauline Hammoc, Drumright, Oklahoma; three brothers, Andrew Cooper, Wagoner, Jack Cooper, Vian, Oklahoma, and Clarence Cooper, Skiatook, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
