JAMES H. ARNOLD
FLORA, INDIANA—James H. Arnold, 53, Cutler, Indiana, died at 11 p.m. Tuesday in the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, Indiana, following a two-month illness.
He was an employee of Chrysler Corporation in Kokomo, Indiana.
Born December 16, 1918 in Tippecanoe County, he was the son of George and Pearl Yelton Arnold.
In 1944 he was married to Joan Larimore who survives.
He was a member of the Cutler Presbyterian Church, the Wildcat Lodge F & AM at Cutler and served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a graduate of Delphi High School.
Surviving with the widow are a son, James M. Arnold, serving with the U.S. Navy in Maine; a daughter, Mrs. Sherry Miller, Lafayette; four grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Robert Lentner and Mrs. Oliver Rex, both of Delphi, Indiana.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Carter Funeral Home here with the Reverend William Beswick officiating. Burial will be in Ball Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday
