Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 21, 1970, at Dry Run for James Miller Arnold of Dry Run. He was 85.
Arnold died Friday night, July 17, 1970, at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Wright. He had been ill for six months.
He was born November 18, 1884 in Huntingdon County, a son of the late Thomas and Annie Arnold. His wife, the former Mary McCartney, preceded him in death on May 31, 1962. He was a member of the Spring Run United Methodist church and had been engaged in farming prior to his retirement.
