Mrs. Theresa McDonald
Gone to Her Reward Mrs. Theresa McDonald, aged eighty-two years, died at her late home in at Fort Seneca at 8:30 o'clock Saturday evening.
The deceased was one of the best known and most kindly of women in Seneca County. She was born in Frederick County, Md. and came to the county in 1835, settled in Fort Seneca and has lived there ever since--nearly sixty-on years. During all these years many a neighbor of Mrs. McDonald has enjoyed her bounty, kind ministrations and motherly solicitude. It was such tenderness yet firm determination, to better mankind, as evidenced by the deceased and her kind, who have gone before, that has made Seneca County the prosperous community it is considered today.
Three children survive: Mrs. W.L. Stackhouse, Kansas; Mrs. A. H. McDowell, Ft. Seneca; and J. R. McDonald of this city.
Funeral services take place in the M.E. Church in Fort Seneca Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment is in Pleasant Union Cemetery.
