Genevieve Arnold, 83, daughter of the late Love Henderson and Carrie Batchelor Henderson was born on March 31, 1931 in Lincoln, Nebraska and passed away on January 10, 2015 at Dexter, Missouri.
Mrs. Arnold was a member of the Trinity United Methodist church in Bloomfield, Missouri.
On November 26, 1948 she was united in marriage to J.C. Arnold in Piggott, Arkansas.
Genevieve is survived by, her husband, J.C. Arnold, Dexter, Missouri; one son, Jim (JoAnna) Arnold of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter Cathy ( William) Chasteen of Bloomfield, Missouri; by four grandchildren; and by ten great-grandchildren.
Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents, Love & Carrie Batchelor Henderson; one granddaughter, Jamie Arnold; one brother, John Henderson, two sisters, Von Emma Clampitt and Lucille Davis.
Visitation will be on January 13, 2015 from 5-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on January 14, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Alice Fowler officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
