JESSIE M. ARNOLD, 84, of Ashland, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at Brethren Care Village.

On December 24, 1928, in Neffs, Mrs. Arnold was born to William and Goldie (née Neiswanger) Drennan.

She had been a resident, homemaker and avid bowler in Ashland most of her life.

On March 18, 1949, Jessie married Richard E. Arnold, who preceded her in death March 15, 2009.

Mrs. Arnold is survived by one daughter, Beverly Underwood of Ashland; two sons, Thomas Arnold of California and Richard James Arnold of Columbus; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Sabatino of Shadyside.

Along with her parents and husband, Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by a brother, William Drennon; and a sister, Mary Lou Petty.

A graveside service will take place 11 a.m. today, January 3, 2013, at Ashland Cemetery with Pastor Don Earlenbaugh officiating. There will be no visitation.
