Mrs. Helen C. Judd, daughter of the late Mr. Dillard Arnett and Mrs. Hovie Simpson Arnett, was born January 21, 1914, in Green County and departed this life on Thursday, September 23, 1993 at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. She was 79 years, eight months and two days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Mr. Coy Judd on September 14,1940, who preceded her in death on May 30,1973. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Vickie and Glen Bright of Greensburg; one stepdaughter and step-son-in-law: Eloise and Graham Judd of L Greensburg; two sisters: Opal Kessler and lola Underwood, both of Greensburg; one granddaughter: Melissa Bright of Greensburg; three step-grandchildren: Barry Judd, Alan Judd and Connie Ford, all of Greensburg; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one son: Deral Clinton Judd, born April 8 and passed away April 9,1944. The funeral services for Mrs. Helen C. Judd were conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Rev. Grant Davis and Rev. Garnett Wayne Davis officiated. Pallbearers were Jerry Bagby, Jerry Arnett, David McMahan, Barry Arnett, Gordon Davis, Dean Ford, Bobby Arnett, Winfred Simpson and Barry Judd.
