In Concord, on August 28, 2001 at age 68. Beverly was predeceased by her mother, Mildred 'Mil' Branch in 1952, and father J. Delmar 'Del' Branch in 1987 who pioneered the Santa Barbara YMCA family & coeducational expansions from 1947 forward.
Beverly was a graduate of La Cumbre Jr HS and SBHS (1951), received her BA from UC Berkeley, and majored as a mother of four, grandmother of eleven. She was active in youth work and was working with the Mt. Diablo USD in recent years.
Loving California kin: Brother, Burdette 'Bud' Branch (Vallejo), brother and sister Gary & Wendy Branch (San Diego and SB), stepmother Virginia Branch (SB), four children, David Arness & Pam Litwiller (Concord), Matt Arness (Chico) and Sandi Zissimos (Truckee), their father and stepmother Carl & Lupe Arness, Jr (Redding), and eleven grandchildren whom she adored. Bev's dearest friend from early childhood (and maid-of-honor), Diane Bellamy (Cloutman) resides in Grass Valley, CA.
