Wilma D. Arnberger 1942-2002
Wilma D. Arnberger, 60, of Great Bend, died Oct. 20 at Cherry Village Nursing Home of Great Bend.
She was born July 29, 1942, at Sharon Springs, the daughter of Virgil and Fern Schwartz Chaney. A resident of Great Bend since 1976, coming from Osborne, she was a sales clerk for McCoy Shoes of Great Bend.
Arnberger was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church of Great Bend, Altar Society and a volunteer for RSVP.
Survivors include one son, Kevin Arnberger of Great Bend; three daughters, Rhonda Klug of Great Bend, Tamera Walker of Rozel and Kimberly Corkill of Partridge; two brothers, Charles Chaney and Jake Chaney, both of Sharon Springs; one sister, Wanda Keister of Sharon Springs; 10 grandchildren; and one greatgrandson.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Leonard Chaney; and one sister, Norma Arnberger.
Altar Society rosary will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Bryant Funeral Home of Great Bend. Vigil service will be at 7
p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev.
Angel Dy officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Cherry Village Nursing Home or RSVP, both in care of the funeral home.
