Mr. Sandy David Armstrong, 98, of 2543 NC 50, Rose hill, NC. died Tuesday at Brian Center Health & Rehabilitation in Wallace, NC.
Mr. Armstrong, born in Duplin County, was the son of the late David and Hannah Ashford Armstrong. He was a member of First Baptist Church Charity of Rose hill, NC.
He is survived by daughters, Lois Harris and husband Albert of Rose Hill, Katherine Armstrong of Rose hill, Joyce Smith and husband Freddie of Baltimore, MD; Martha Armstrong, Edna Armstrong, Lynette Armstrong and Lorine Armstrong all of Philadelphia, PA; seven granddaughters, eleven grandsons, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great- great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews,cousins and friends.
The family received friends 3-6 pm, Sunday, February 14, 2016 at the Garris Funeral Home.
The funeral services were held at 1pm, Monday, February 15, 2016 at First Baptist Church Charity, Rose Hill, NC with Pastor Terry Roland officiating.
Burial was made in the Armstrong Family Cemetery.
