Mr. Sherman Armstrong (age 61), a retired seaman and a lifelong resident of Mobile, died at a local hospital January 15, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Armstrong; a devoted aunt and 2nd mother, Van Doris Armstrong both of Mobile; two daughters, son and stepson, Michelle Page of Las Vegas, NV.; Danishia (Leo) Jones; Sherman Armstrong Jr. and Thomas Armstrong; brother, Clay Armstrong & grandchildren, all of Mobile. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Devoted, Jazzmon Arnold, Aaron Dunn and Sheldon Matthews. Visitation will be Saturday, January 24, 2009 from 10am until the 12:00 pm funeral hour at Sunlight District Auditorium with Rev. Jonathan Yates officiating. Interment to follow at Lawn Haven Cemetery.
