At 1 o'clock this morning, after a long sickness, occured the death of George Armstrong at the home of his son G.M. Armstrong, Nineteenth avenue and Twentieth street. Mr. Armstrong was 72 years old. He was born in Pennsylvania, but spent most of his life in Ohio. Eight years ago he and his wife came to this city and have since resided with his son. His wife and five children survive him. The children are married and live in Ohio, Lafayette, Ind., Chicago and Sioux City. Mr Armstrong was a man of force of character and always respected. The funeral services will take place tomorrow at 10 o'clock from the residence and will be conducted by Rev. Levi Marshall.
