Mrs. Lawrence M. Tulloch, Sr., age 77 years, of 417 N Syndicate Ave, died in hospital Sunday afternoon, Aug 24, 1975, following a short illness. Born near Sault Ste. Marie,she was the former Mary Armstrong, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Armstrong. She received her education there and came to this area in 1919 (Thunder Bay). She was married to Lawrence Murray Tulloch at Dunnsville in 1916. A former long time employee of the Fort William Board of Education, he predeceased her in 1966. A member of Wesley United Church, she was a past president of the Canadian League Assembly 34, and a past president of the auxilliary to the Fort William Girls Pipe Band. Surviving are two sons, two daughters, 11 Grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers Edgar Armstrong of Lewiston Idaho; sisters Mrs. Mabel Schultz, Thessalon; and Lillian, Mrs. D MacDonald, Desbarats, Ont; nieces and nephews, and other relatives. She was also predeceased by two brothers and three sisters. Services Tuesday at 1:45 pm in the Jenkins Funeral Home. Rev. Douglas Greenough of Wesley United Church will officiate. Interment in Mountain View Cemetery. Canadian Daughters League will hold a memorial service in the Jenkins Funeral Home, tonight at 7:30.
