I have never met a man more devoted to his God, his family, his church and his country than Mr. Armstrong. It was a great honor to be his daughter-in-law and the mother of his Angel Pie.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Betty Lou (Taylor) Armstrong of Tyler; his son, Daniel Paul Armstrong of Tyler: his treasured granddaughter, Taylor Armstrong of Tyler; his brother, Connie Armstrong and his wife Harriett; and his sister, Rosalee Floyd and her husband Robert.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, Connie & Nora Cornelius Armstrong and a son, Donald Taylor Armstrong.
