Mattie Pearl Armstrong, 94, of 1541 Lillius, died Thursday at a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Epworth United Methodist Church with the Rev. Warren Schoenecker officiating. Burial will be in Hylton Cemetery, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Born in Williamson County, she lived in Hylton and moved from Childress to Abilene in 1957. She was a homemaker and a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church.
She was the widow of Rev. E. C. Armstrong, a long-time Big Country Methodist minister.
Survivors include a son, Vernon Armstrong of Abilene; a sister, Ola Harvey of Littlefield; two grandchildren, Troy Armstrong of San Antonio and Dari Kellar of Pine Bluff, Ark.; and four great-grandchildren.
