|Birth: ||Sep. 6, 1878|
|Death: ||Jan. 9, 1879|
At the residence of her parents in Lafayette precinct, Jan. 9, 1879 of pneumonia, Mary Ann, infant daughter of M. J. and Mary Armstrong, aged four months and three days.
"So fades the lovely blooming flower,
Frail smiling solace of an hour,
So soon our transient comforts fly,
And pleasure only blooms to die.
Is there no kind, no healing art
To soothe the anguish of the heart,
Spirit of grace, be ever nigh;
Thy comforts are not made to die."
The parents may find comfort in praying.
