Russell A. Armstrong, 77, of 4206 Fourth St., died Friday in Yale Community Hospital after a short illness.

Mr. Armstrong was born June 17, 1901, in Imlay City He had lived in Brown City since 1932.

He married Lucille Millikin Nov. 10, 1921, at Lum.

Mr. Armstrong retired inm 1966 as plant manager at Twin Pines Dairy, Brown City.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. John (Glennie) Moseok, and Miss Helen Armstrong, both of Brown City; a son, Robert Armstrong, Brown City; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Mrs. Peggy Banks, died June 28.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Carman Funeral Home, Brown City. The Rev. James Jacobs, pastor of Brown City United Methodist Churches, will officiate.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Brown City.

Mr. Armstrong's grandsons will be pallbearers.
