GALVESTON — Mrs. Mary Louise Armstrong, 76, of Galveston,
Texas, passed away Saturday, September 25, 1999, at Baywind Village Convalescent Center, League City, Texas.
She was born August 16, 1923, in Indianapolis, Indiana, and was a resident of Galveston, Texas, for 52 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lutheran faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Armstrong Sr. and her parents, Raymond and Mary FieseL
Mrs. Armstrong is survived by her daughter, Effie McGilberry of Dickinson, Texas; sons, Ted Armstrong Jr. of Dickinson, Texas; and David Armstrong of Elgin, Texas; sister, Joan Ann Hicks, of Hitchcock, Texas; brother, Raymond G. Fiesel of Santa Fe, Texas; 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and other numerous relatives.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 27, 1999, at 2:00 p.m. in the Froberg Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Galveston Memorial Park, Hitchcock, Texas under the direction of Froberg Funeral Home, Alvin, Texas. Visitation hours will be 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday in the Froberg Funeral Home Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Armstrong, Ted Armstrong m, Fred McGilberry Jr., Fred McGilberry II, William McGilberry, and Edward Hicks Jr.
In lieu of usual remembrances, the family suggests memorials to Hospice Care Team, Inc., 1708 Amburn, Suite C, Texas City, Texas 77591.
