FORMER BOWLING GREEN BOY IS DEAD
Gordon Armitage Passed Away at Home of Father in Waterville, Following Illness with Typhoid Pneumonia
Gordon Armitage died this morning at eight o'clock at the home of his father in Waterville, after having been ill with typhopid pneumonia for about three weeks.
He was born near Bowling Green the second day of November, 1901 and lived in Bowling Green until his father moved his family to Waterville.
The deceased drove a truck for his father who owns a garage in Waterville. Gordon attended the United Brethren church when in Bowling Green.
He is survived by his father Ray Armitage and one sister Mildred who is at home. The young man's mother and two brothers preceded him to the grave.
The funeral arrangements have not been made as yet, but will be announced later.
