Dorothy L. Argabrite, beloved sister and aunt, passed away Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006.
Dorothy was from Vienna, W.Va. and was born in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Jacob H. and Nettie A. Davis Argabrite.
She was a dental assistant for Dr. Kermit Booher, she worked for the State of Ohio in Columbus and was a former employee of the Telephone Co. of Clark County in Las Vegas, Nev.
Dorothy was a member of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority of Parkersburg.
She is survived by one sister, Naida Argabrite Jahahn and her husband, Albert, of Anaheim, Calif.; one brother, Fleet W. Argabrite and his wife, Maxine, of Vienna, W.Va.; a favorite nephew, Michael Christison of Vienna, W.Va.; several nieces and nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Edna Lowe, Frances Allen, Betty Allen, and Mary Fielder; three brothers, James, John and Charles Argabrite; and two infant brothers.
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006 at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Parkersburg with the Rev. George C. Allen II and the Rev. Arthur L. Bennett III officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services Saturday in the church Great Room.
Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. is handling arrangements for the Argabrite family.
