EVANSVILLE — Dollie Lavine (Arflack) Blume, 88, Good Samaritian Home, Evansville, formerly of Bedford, died at 4:15 a.m. Thursday at Deaconess Hospice Care Center in Evansville.

She was born Aug. 24, 1918, in Crittendon County, Ky., the daughter of John William and Mattie Henri (Brightman) Arflack, she married the Rev. James B. Blume and he preceded her in death on April 13, 1993.

She was a homemaker, a minister's wife and a retired employee of Southwest Indiana District office of the Church of the Nazarene in Bedford. She was a member of the Davis Memorial Church of the Nazarene in Bedford.

Survivors include three daughters, Esther Truesdale, Seabrook, S.C., Ruth Conover, Evansville, and Mary Jetter, Piqua, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Truesdale, Rebecca Aragon, Brenda Prichard, Amy Watson, Brian Jetter, David Jetter and Kristina Jetter; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruby Hill, Providence, Ky., and Marjorie Hoover, Marion, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers, Claude, Lawrence, Earl and Fred Arflack; and three sisters, Pearl Arflack, Mozelle Curry and Albateen Hughes.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home in Bedford with the Rev. Gale Ashby officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service Monday at the funeral home.
