Anna "Annie" Arensdorf, 88, died Sunday, June 15, 2014 at her home in Dodge City.

She was born November 15, 1925 at Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Elmer and Marie Howe Allen.

On October 17, 1943 she married Jesse H. Scoggins. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1957.

In 1944, following her husband Jesse's discharge from the United States Navy, they moved to Ensign.

Being a farmers wife for many years, she worked for the Ensign School Lunch Program, the Gray County Extension Office, the Ensign Post Office and was the Deputy Treasurer at the Gray County Treasurers Office, retiring in 1988.

She moved from Ensign to Dodge City in 2008.

She was an avid bowler and pool player belonging to numerous leagues.

She married Robert "Bob" Arensdorf on May 28, 1958 at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Dodge City. He preceded her in death on August 27, 2010.

In addition to her husbands, Annie was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Casmier Popek.
