Mary Ann Arena, 87, of Mentor, passed away Feb. 5, 2013.
She was born Oct. 18, 1925, in Cleveland and had lived in Wickliffe before moving to Mentor.
Mrs. Arena was a proud resident at Governor's Point in Mentor for the past seven years. She also lived in Wickliffe for many years and was active at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Mary's greatest joys in life were her family and her faith. She was a wonderful storyteller and especially loved those stories to be about her younger years and family life.
Survivors are her children, Andy (Dorothy) Arena and Vickie (Richard) Ward; grandchildren, Jennifer (Greg) Krahe, Stefanie Arena and Natalie (Luke) Parke; and great-grandchildren, Nolan and Kailyn Krahe and Cecilia and Lucy Parke.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; daughter-in-law, Linda Arena; great-granddaughter, Kylie Krahe; and brothers Joe, Pat and Lou Parrottino.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St., Mentor, OH 44060.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at St. Gabriel Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Mentor, OH 44060. (Please meet at the church.) Entombment will be in All Souls Cemetery.
