Nancy J. (Frick) Arena
October 15, 1922 – October 23, 2012

Devoted wife to Ralph M. Arena, sons Scott Arena and daughter in law Toni, A Bar J Ranch, Portal, Arizona and Tom Arena and daughter in law Romayne, Paris, France and loving Grandsons Sean Arena, Ft. Worth Texas and James Arena, Paris, France. Preceded in death by her father Dr. Loren L. Frick and his wife Helen Frick, Nancy's maternal mother Ruth Humbert, her daughter Mary Anne Arena and her sister Annabelle (Frick) Morris.

Nancy was born into a well known North Canton doctor's family dedicated to caring for patients through the state of Ohio. She attended Penn State. Her compassion, empathy and concern for her family and friends followed Nancy throughout her rich life's experiences and travels across the world. She married Ralph in Virginia in 1942 shortly before he left to honorably serve his country as a WWII Navy Combat Seabee. While Ralph was overseas, Nancy worked at the Hoover plant supporting the wartime effort.

Upon Ralph's return from the Pacific Theatre as a petro chemical engineer's wife, she moved several times across the United States and then in the mid 1950's, she and her family relocated to London, England and later to Paris, France for many years. Ralph and Nancy returned to the States in the late 70s'retiring to North Canton.

Throughout Nancy's life, her love of music and the arts held her interest shaped by over 20 years living in Europe raising a post war family. Without asking anything in return, her caring generosity towards everyone who knew her was mankind's treasure.
