Ricardo Arellano Sr.
Ricardo “Ricky” Arellano Sr., 51, passed on to a better life on May 28, 2012 in Galveston,Tx., after a short but hard fought battle with cancer. His beloved son was by his side as were his mother and wife.He was born and raised in Brownsville,Tx. but moved to Galveston, Tx. where he met his wife of 20 years. He was a devoted father to his son, Little Ricky, who was also his playing buddy and best friend. Ricky was always ready and willing to help anyone that needed help offering to do whatever it was since he was a jack of all trades and a master of some.

There wasn’t a Dallas Cowboy’s game as well as a San Antonio Spurs game that him and his son didn’t watch together. When the Cowboys had summer camp in San Antonio, Ricky, Little Ricky, Suzette and both his mom and sister Christy would head there. We will forever cherish those trips and treasure the memories.
