Larry T. Arehart, 73, of 400 Knox St., Beaverton, died Friday, March 9, at his home. Born in Johnstown, Pa.., Sept. 11, 1911, he came to Gladwin County in 1936. He retired as a mechanic for Dow Chemical Co. Jan. 1, 1970 and was a member of the Beaverton Baptist Church.
Mr. Arehart was married to the former Marjorie Bergman Aug. 22, 1936, in Beaverton. Besided his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Melody Walters of Clare. Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Beaverton Baptist Church. The Rev. Brian Wright officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
