José Victor was survived by his wife Yolanda; 2 children: Andrew and Eva Marie Pacheco of the home; 3 sisters: Belle Becker of Santa Cruz, Martha Archuleta of Española, and Manuela Norma Evan of Santa Fe; sister-in-law Juanita Archuleta of Santa Cruz; and many other relatives.
Butch owned Becker's Inc. Department Store in the San Pedro Center, where he worked his entire life. He was also an avid golfer.
Funeral services were on 15 June 1998 in La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Burial was in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers: Tomás Archuleta, Joe Becker Jr., Henry Lucero, Peggy Sue Martinez, Henry Trujillo, and Luciano "Lucky" Trujillo.
