Elsie was preceded in death by her father, Blas Martínez, her mother, Rosina V. Martínez, her father-in-law, Willie Archuleta and mother-in-law, Stella Archuleta.
Elsie is survived by her husband of 43 years, Pat W. Archuleta, children, Patrick Archuleta and Alan Archuleta, brothers, Bert Martínez and his wife, Lucy and Freddy Martínez, sister, Lovia Leyba and her husband, Orlando, grandchildren, Kenneth Gómez, Sierra Gómez and Aliyah Archuleta and numerous loving nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.
Public visitation will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Española. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Kenneth Gómez, Gabino Leyba, Darryl Leyba, Rosendo Sánchez, Billy Sánchez and Frankie Sánchez.
