Dennis H Arbogast, 55, of Valley Head, died Thursday, Dec. 7, in the Memorial General Hospital at Elkins. He had suffered two heart attacks during the past six years.
Born at Valley Head a son of the late Ira Arbogast and Nora Ware Arbogast.
He was married May 31, 1933, to the former Gledes Smith, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Dora, wife of Tech. Sgt. Donald Parrack, with the U.S. Air Force en route to Anchorage, Alaska, Mrs. William Hogan, and Mrs. Jerry Bartlett; two sons, Vester D. and Mitchell D. Arbogast, ; one brother, Ola Arbogast; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Martley and Mrs. Opal Cross and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Arbogast was a retired coal miner having been employed at the Hickory Lick Mine of the Bethlehem Colleries at Monterville. He was a member of the Valley Head United Methodist Church.
