James "Jim" Brent Arbogast, 66, of Beverly, WV entered into eternal rest Saturday December 12, 2009 at home surrounded by family.

He was born Sunday January 10, 1943 in Coalton, WV, a son of the late Jewell Oakland Arbogast and Mildred J. Roberts Arbogast Bennett who survives in Beverly.

He attended the schools of Randolph County. He was employed as a general laborer with the construction trade.

Jim was a very talented artist and wood carver who made many beautiful carvings for his family and friends.

He enjoyed working in his flower garden.

He especially loved lillies.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one half-brother: Jonathan Arbogast.

Jim will be sadly missed by his daughter: Mildred Marie "Micky" Williams and husband Stanley "Stan" of Erie, PA; mother: Mildred Arbogast Bennett of Beverly with whom he made his home; two sisters: Gloria Warner and husband Steven and Donna Allan and husband Randolph "Randy" all of Beverly; half-brother; Joseph Arbogast and wife Linda of Buckhannon; three aunts: Bonnie Knicely and husband Larry of Elkins, Enid Goodwin of Howard, PA and Gail Bennett of Buckhannon; one uncle: Donald L. Roberts of Geneva, OH; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday December 15, 2009 at The Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services; 100 Meadow Lane; Valley Bend, WV.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday December 15, 2009 at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Albert H. Belt officiating.

Burial will follow in Mt. State Memorial Gardens at Gilman, WV.
