Isabel Araquistain, 83, died Sunday, August 31, 2003. Isabel was born March 16, 1920 in Los Angeles, CA and was a resident of Stockton for 60 years. She was employed at the Family Toggery and Big and Little. She was a loyal and dedicated clerk and bookkeeper. We will remember her for her love of family, strength and courage, independent spirit, sense of humor and quick retorts.
Beloved wife of the late Claude Araquistain.
Loving mother of the late Charlene Araquistain Spencer.
Dear sister of Martin Esarte (Mary Jane of Tracy, Angela Arbeloa of San Francisco and the late Felix Esarte of Tracy.
Cherished Tia of Marlene Cordova, Juanita Sullivan, Jim Esarte, Frank Arbeloa, Dennis Esarte, Larry Araquistain, Robert Araquistain and Peter Araquistain. Also survived by great and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, dear friends and her faithful dog Pepe.
A Vigil Service will be held at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Drive, Stockton on Thursday, September 4, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Church of the Presentation, 6715 Leesburg Place, Stockton on Friday, September 5, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel on Thursday, 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:30-9:30 a.m. Private Committal. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
