Alex Noah Aragon, age 52, a lifetime resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at his home.
He was born on Feb. 5, 1958, to the late Candido Aragon Jr. and Annie M. Torres-Aragon who survives him.
Alex worked for the railroad for 10 years, worked as a plumber, electrician and also a lifeguard at the recreation center. Alex enjoyed swimming, fishing and being in the outdoors. He also enjoyed traveling and being with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his father: Candido Aragon, Jr; grandson: William Robert Israel Aragon.
He is survived by his by his son: Jonathan Noah Aragon and wife Terrie; daughter, Yvette Aragon; grandchildren: Anthony, Andrew, Jonathan Jr., Joshua, Unique, Tiara and Marissah; special friend and mother of his son: Ernestine Aragon and his mother: Annie Aragon all of Las Vegas; sisters: Darlene Aragon of Pueblo, CO; Frances Ortega of Tennessee; La Verne Aragon and special friend Julian Mora of Las Vegas, brothers: Ray Aragon of Albuquerque; John Lujan of Las Vegas; special nephew: Arsenio Mora of Las Vegas; numerous: aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Rosary devotional services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with Father C. John Brasher as Celebrant. Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery, Las Vegas. Cremation has taken place.
