Carolina, a native of Mora, New Mexico; passed away at the Guadalupe County Hospital in Santa Rosa. She was predeceased by her parents Ambrosio and Magdalena Herrera Moncayo; her siblings; her husband Fernando Aragon; her children: Juan Aragon, Liberato Aragon, Vidal Aragon, and Erlinda Quintana; her son-in-law Charlie Quintana; her grandson Christopher Jordon Aragon; and a great grandson Joshua Harrison.

Carolina was survived by her son Jose Celso Aragon (wife Rose Martinez) of Santa Rosa; her brother Jesus Moncallo (wife Pablita) of Santa Rosa; and her sister Annie Williams of Aurora, Colorado; daughters-in-law: Celina Aragon of Albuquerque and Mary Aragon of Santa Rosa; seventeen grandchildren; forty-three grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren.

Carolina was born in the home of her parents. Her parents moved to Puerto de Luna when she was 12 years old. She married Fernando Aragon in 1920 in Puerto de Luna. Carolina worked as a cook for various restaurants in Santa Rosa and also worked for the Santa Rosa Schools Cafeteria for over 20 years. She was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and the Sacred Heart Society. Carloina loved playing the guitar, dancing, and just having a good time.

Rosary services were held on 20 Jan 2002 at St. Rose Church in Santa Rosa. Mass of Christian Burial was on 21 Jan 2002 also at St. Rose Church. Burial follow at the family plot in El Calvario Cemetery in Puerto de Luna. Pallbearers: Richard Aragon, Ricky Cash, Johnny Ray Aragon, Eric Aragon, Phillip Aragon, Sonny Aragon, Robert Quintana, and Leroy Quintana. Honorary Pallbearers: the rest of her grandchildren.
