Gertrude C. Aragón, age 79, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on November 18, 2006 and is now in heaven with her Lord. Gertrude is the beloved wife to Antonio Aragón, married for 53 years.
Gertrude is also survived by her daughter, Barbara D. Anglin, two sons, Isidro P. Aragón and Eugene R. Aragón, one sister, Emilia García, one brother, Trinidad Chávez and his wife, Mela, six grandchildren, Debbie and her husband, Tito, Juanito and his wife, Melanie, Eugene, Andrew, Joseph and Zachary, seven great-grandchildren, Ciara, Heaven, Tito Jr., Elijah, Jade, Gino and Joshua, several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Gertrude was a member of the Catholic Church.
Visitation will be on Monday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldón Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be on Tuesday morning in the Gabaldón Memorial Chapel from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at St. Edwin Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona SW by Father Bill Sánchez. Interment will follow at the San José de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Isidro Aragón, Eugene Aragón, Juanito Chávez, Jaime Felix, Pablo Varela and Richard Gurulé.
