Lock Haven-Mrs. Alice Appleman, 93, widow of William Appleman, died at her home on 205 South High Street at 1 a.m., Easter Sunday, April 9, 1944.
Born in Covington, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Johnson, (sic Jobson) she lived in Benton and Beech Creek before she moved to Lock Haven. She was a member of the Blanchard Church of Christ.
Three grandnieces, Mrs. Charles Farwell and Mrs. W. C. Holter, Lock Haven and Mrs. T. S. Porter, St. Petersburg, Fla., survive.
Services will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday in the funeral home at 109 West Church Street. The Rev. Edwin V. Hayden will officiate. Burial will be in Flemington Cemetery."
