"MISS CELIA APPLEGATE.
The remains of Miss Celia Applegate, who died Monday morning at Capitol Hill, Oklahoma, whither she had gone fourteen months ago for the benefit of her health, arrived here yesterday on the 1:35 C. and O. Fast Flyer, and were removed to her late home near Mt. Gilead.
The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tully Applegate, and was in her 27th year. Besides her parents she is survived by two brothers. She was a Christian woman and a most loveable character.
The funeral took place this morning at 11 o'clock, with services at the grave by Rev. Roger L. Clark of the Christian Church of this city, the deceased being a devout member of the Orangeburg Christian Church.
Interment in Maysville Cemetery."
