Antoine
Janice was born to the late Charlie and Vivian Gilchrist in Escambia County, Florida on July 30, 1937. She made the transition to her heavenly home on April 25, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents, a son, John Allen Brown, Jr., two brothers and one sister.
Janice was educated in the Escambia County school system. Janice leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Tony Antoine, daughter, Sylvia Garner, Pensacola, son, Ronald (Iris) Blue, Buffalo, NY, daughter, Laverne Blue, Pensacola, grandchildren, Charis Nicole Brown, Gregory Foster of Pensacola, and Rashard Blue, Buffalo, NY, sisters, Romie Richardson, Vivian Lark and Voncille Spotts, all of Pensacola, FL, nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014, 11:00 AM at New Faith Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Dempsey Daniels officiating.
