Robert Lee - Clay Kennedy Antilley, 19, of Robert Lee, left this earth on Tuesday, June 26, 2007.
A celebration of his life will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, at Robert Lee Baptist Church under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home and officiated by Mark Markum of Round Rock. The burial will follow at the Shep Cemetery.
Clay was born November 10, 1987, in San Angelo to Tommy and Kei Antilley. He attended Kindergarten through his senior year at Robert Lee ISD and had been accepted and planned to attend Blinn College in Bryan, Texas.
He was an avid golfer and a hardworking member of 4-H and FFA. Voted "Most Witty" by his classmates, Clay always greeted everyone with his big grin and dancing green eyes. He enjoyed life to the fullest especially his world of stock shows. He never met a stranger and enjoyed friendships all over the state of Texas. He brightened many lives and was a constant blessing to his friends and family.
Survivors include his parents Tommy and Kei Antilley of Robert Lee; brothers Scott of Robert Lee and Casey and wife Christy of Abilene; paternal grandmother, Marianne Antilley of Shep; paternal aunt Cindy Cathey and husband Bill of Wingate; paternal uncle Gary Antilley and wife Stasia of Wingate; maternal aunts Beverly Awalt and husband Charles of Abilene and Pat Kaufman and husband Ken of Lumberton; numerous cousins and many great friends.
Pallbearers will be Clay's special classmates and life long stockshow friends Lance Millican, Cody McCabe, Johnathan Pagan, Kevin Honse, Tanner Poole, Kalli Poole, Carter Airhart, and Tyrell Gilbert.
