Clarence W. Anthony, 64, of 602 S. Carldon St., Allentown, died yesterday (25 Aug 1969)in Allentown Hospital.
He came to Allentown 42 years ago. For 32 years he was a boilermaker for the Central Railroad of New Jersey. For the last eight years he worked in the greenhouse at Allentown's Trexler Memorial Park.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Lewis) Anthony and was the husband of Verna J. (DeLong) Anthony.
He was a member of Dubbs Memorial United Church of Christ, Allentown, and a former deacon of the church. He was a past junior governor of the Loyal Order of Moose and a member of the North End Republican Club.
