Blanche Freeman Anthony, 92, of 1251 E. Hudson Blvd., Gastonia, NC, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at her residence.
She was a native of Lincoln County, NC, and was the daughter of the late George and Amanda Lynch Freeman.
FUNERAL: 3:00 PM, Saturday, Founders Chapel, McLean Funeral Directors - Gastonia.
INTERMENT: Gaston Memorial Park
VISITATION: 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, Saturday, McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia
Mrs. Anthony was a member of Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church for over 55 years where she sang in the choir. She was a member of Southminster Presbyterian Church and was a member of Laboratory Methodist Church, Laboratory, NC from early childhood.
SURVIVORS: Husband of 73 1/2 years: Clyde Reeves (Dick) Anthony, Sons and Daughter-In-Law: Joel R. Anthony- Fayetteville, Jack L. and Gordon Ella Anthony- Charlotte, Daughters and Sons-In-Law: Helen and Yates Gilbert- Charlotte, Georgia and Brice Warren- Gastonia, Karon Killday- Colorado Springs, CO, Brother: Sam Freeman, Charlotte, 17 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren, 9 Great Great Grandchildren
