Survived by wife, Mildred Taylor Anthony, Tickfaw; four daughters, Mrs. Michael (Monica) Anthony Powell, Viola Anthony Wagner and Mrs. Glen(Carrie) Anthony Burkhalter, all of Tickfaw, and Mrs. Roy (Debbie) Anthony Stilley, Albany; a son, Harold Wayne, Denham Springs; a sister, Vivian Strahan, Tickfaw; a brother, Caffery C. Anthony, Tickfaw; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, Andrew Dorveal and Rosa Winona Reed Anthony; two sisters, Ida Persing and Viola A. Anthony; and two brothers, Ancell "S.K." Anthony and Murk Anthony.
He was a lifetime member of the Natalbany Volunteer Fire Department, lifetime member of American Legion Post No. 109, lifetime member of World War II MP 726th Battalion and served as Chaplain Emeritus of World War II MP 726th Battalion. He taught Sunday School at First Baptist Church, Tickfaw, for 28 years.
