Charles C. "Chuck" Anness Jr., 59, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2001, at Windsor Manor. He was a resident of Indianapolis. He was born July 27, 1942, in Pendleton County, Ky. His father was Charles C. Anness Sr. His mother is Lorine (Lea) Anness of Southport. He married Heather (Wilkins) Anness on June 22, 2001. She survives. Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Sue Bentle of Lawrenceburg; two brothers, Harold Leroy Anness of Indianapolis and Dennis Anness of Greenwood; two sisters, Ruby Snapp and Sheila Wrightsman, both of Indianapolis; and three grandchildren. He was a self-employed handyman. He enjoyed fishing and watching sports. A service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Raven Creek Cemetery in Cynthiana, Ky.
