Dorothy Louise Brcnnecke, 75, died Friday, April 12, at her home in Lometa, Texas. The body was cremated and will be buried at a later date in Riverside Cemetery in Marshalltown.
She was born Sept. 6, 1915 to Ilo and Jessie Wilson Ankrum. She married Richard Brennecke Feb. 3, 1934 and farmed most of her life in Marshall and Hardin counties. She retired to Lometa, Texas in 1972.
She is survived by her husband of Lometa, Texas; a daughter, Pricilla (Mrs. Jack) Beauregaurd of Lometa, Texas; a son, Ronald Brenneekc of Pleasant Hill; a nephew she and her husband raised, Clifford Ankrum of Hubbard; three grandsons; two great-grandsons; and a brother, Merle Ankrum.
