Rites Planned for Mrs. Afton Angus

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Sweet mortuary chapel here for Mrs. Afton Angus, 40, who died Monday in Enloe hospital, Chico.
Mrs. Angus was born September 23, 1905, at Heber City, Utah, and spent her early life in that state. She came to California 12 years ago, and had been an Orland resident for the past 11 years, living on a ranch which she and her husband owned in the Lake district. She had been active in social affairs and in work of the Latter Day Saints church, and had also held a position in the Bank of America here for the past several years.
Surviving her are the husband, S. R. Angus, one son, Dale Angus; her mother, Mrs. Frederick Parker, and two brothers, Dwayne and Marvin Parker, all of Orland.
Burial in the Masonic cemetery here will follow the rites at the chapel.
Elder German E. Ellsworth, the president of Northern California Missions of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, will be here from San Francisco to conduct the funeral services Friday. - Transcribed by M.
